So, it's '09 already and I've finally decided to do a little spring cleaning. Just wanted to let y'all know about my sales :)
(plus I needs monies for CNY @.@)

I have this wig I recently bought, it's brand new and only taken out once for trying and kept back in the bag..
So I remembered I had it after I dug around during spring cleaning, lol! ^^;;;

I'm asking $20 for it since it's in brand new condition, plus it saves you hassle from dealing with LUTS *and* you don't have to wait! Whoo-hoo!

I was thinking of a new concept for another doll..
I actually had her all planned out already for about a year, but somehow that changed when I started scribbling in OC. So here's the scribbled end result..

Funny how everything but the hair is right..
Maybe I could work with this? Maybe it's some cosmic sign! WHOA!

I know this is ultra short noticed.. But shipping is expensive, and I was hoping to get a few people on board with me :)

Starting over the obsession

So, it's been awhile since I've gotten 'involved' in the hobby..
Lurking in DoA doesn't really count if it's not to obsess and buy more stuff for my dolls.. :)
So now I'm balancing BJD-ing and blogshopping when I'm online, but mostly BJD-ing, so that's progress right?

I re-did my Opium's faceup (I think that makes this no.4?) and yeah, I can totally bond better now that she has a face again, haha!
(Her previous faceup got screwed up, so she's been sitting there faceup-less for quite awhile now..

I finally mustered up the patience to remove the excess arcylic and MSC in the corner of her lips, not all of it can be removed, though, but it's enough to get the faceup on without noticing much beneath it..
Would SO love to take photos, but my camera is really bad, and I'm gonna have to loan a buddy's.. Damn.
But I guess you can say I'm pretty satisfied with how this faceup turned out. It wasn't as extreme as the initial first 3 try outs, but it's just perfect enough for my Opium. Suits her character very much :)

While I was in limbo between BJD-ing and blogshopping, I bought a few things which MIGHT have contributed to Opium's now much cleaner faceup (or 'cause I gots pure skillzzz XD).. I bought a 20/0 liner (now aiming to get a 100/0 one :D ), a retarder, and pearlascent! Yes! I've yet to get more pastels (I only have 3 sticks of colour!) and that's quite limiting, so yeah, in my next visit to NanYang, definately gonna stock up on blacks, purples, whites, creams, and bloodreds. Not badlah for RM4.50/stick, right? :)

Oh, and I'm thinking of changing Opium's name now since I've been mulling over her character and how inflexible it is..
So maybe renaming her to Helvetica, after my favourite font.. What'd you think?
